Getting Ready for Artfest and PPF the Sequel

Welcome to week two of Paint Party Friday with Kristin and Eva!  This week my artwork is from playing along last week!  I have decided to turn my Friday evenings into Paint Party Friday time.  Last week was so much fun sitting at my dining room table with my laptop, painting and popping into website after website.

These two paintings (my new header and this one) are the beginnings of me working out my trades for Artfest.

This is my second year at Artfest, and let me tell you I am waaaayyyy behind on my preparations.  I only looked at my supply list this past week.  I haven't even started my trades. And I have yet to find a carry-on that I like.

Now, I am always better under pressure, some call that procrastination.  But, I am frankly starting to freak myself out over here. Last year I made 125 paper bead charms and came home with 2 left.  The idea of making 125 of anything has me less than thrilled.  So, I am making these little paintings that I am hoping to turn into fabric stickers.

Can't wait till 6:00PM to come home from work and Get My Paint On!

Check out the Paint Party Friday website for a little Paint Party eyecandy!
